Default Thinking about getting PSS9's for the car, do I NEED the rear swaybar installed at the same time?

I have 90k on the S4, all on the original stock suspension. I hear great things about the Bilsteins and really like how you can adjust the damping with the little selector knob.

So do I need that rear swaybar? I plan to have my local shop do the install so it will be more cost effective with labor to have all suspension work done at the same time. No need to make a second trip later.

Are there any other suspension componenets that I should consider replacing while they are in their putting on the CO's?

Planning on running 26" all around for winter use, it this possible with these CO's?

Default A rear sway bar makes a huge difference IMO. I have the 19mm Neuspeed one with H&R streets.

Default No labor savings. You can do it later. Try out the suspension and see if you want more.

Default I bet his place would give him a deal since he's doing the other stuff at the same time.

Default You don't NEED a swaybar...but you might find it a worthwhile upgrade.

That's probably a decision you can make later, after getting the coilovers. There's really no overlapping labor between the sway and the coilovers.

Have them check all the ball joints in the front suspension (upper control arms, lower control arms, tie rod ends). You'll probably want to replace any worn out arms before you get the alignment done.

Default Right now i have stock suspension and H-sports. Not bad at all! I likey :-) ....

But once i get my H&R streets i will be a happy man! As for you just get the C/O's and go from there the rear sway is easy enough to install yousrself!

Default So no real labor savings. I will have them look at the control arms, ball joints, etc.

Default Piggie pipes with test pipes? No way those pass emissions.

How do you do it? I just had my piggies installed after my GHL DP cats went bad. But test pipes in Piggies. Did Piggie do that for you?

Default Maybe, I was thinking about 5-6 hours labor for C/O install, about right?

My shop, Gunbarrell Import Motors, always treats me right. Loaner everytime with no hastle makes a big difference.
