Default I bought a "5-bar" FPR on ebay and when it arrived yesterday it was labeled(much to my surprise) as

a 4 bar. The schmuck is trying to tell me it's a 5-bar from ecs labeled as a 4 bar. According to ECS's website, they don't even sell a bosch 5 bar, and the 4 bar is in fact just that...a 4 bar. Anyone heard of such a thing or should I just wrap this thing back up and send it back?

Default most 5 bars sold are 4 bars that are "crushed" / modified to make them flow at 5 bar...

thats probably what you have. It will work fine.

Default here's a shot of a 4bar crushed, but I bet it and a true 5bar dont flow the same...

...of course, until someone graphs them across teh RPM band, we'll never really know.
