Default Those out there running Clutch Masters clutches...please read

OK-

So I am wondering, are CM clutches self adjusting?

Or, did you have to reset the clutch before you installed it?

Please let me know feedback-

Thanks

Default SMACK!!!

Yes....no known adjustment...particularly brand new. The only adjustment that occurs on other clutches is typically when installing a used pressure plate in various configurations.....old friction disk w/ regrind flywheel.....new friction disk....etc., etc.

But that was inferred knowledge........

(this discounts the recent batch of RS4 PPs from a well know parts supplier that were not reset in a brand new condition - anomoly)

Default They use the self adjusting luke pressure plate.. but

The pressure plate looks just like a stock pressure plate, or an RS4 Luk Unit. The diaphram is even Luk too.
It looks like they modify the Clutch to generate more pressure ( there are some modified bits on it )

The Self adjusting mechanism has been hammered in so that it does not work anymore.

I know very glamerous. But its the dirty way to get things done. and it works.

Ill post pictures of my Clutch masters 4 soon.

Btw.. you can get them to work with the fidanza flywheel, you just need a lathe.
