Default How does the majority of the board feel about running DV's upside down ( the way we were always told

not to)? I heard they are supposed to react quicker? I know a few people install them like this, Matter of fact the guy who gave me a ride just now in his stage 3 told me Northern european told him to run them that way?

Default I'm forgainst it.

I leave mine in the stock position since boost pressure is less likely to push or hold open the DV. That being said: I don't see anything wrong with installing them that way at lower boost pressures.

Does anyone know the spring pressure of a 710N?

Default I've run mine both ways and didn't notice any difference...

but I run them in the conventional orientation now. Mainly because I've been convinced that it is the best way, but also because I can get the bling CF engine cover on that way.

Default Yes, but installing it the opposite way the spring would be fighting boost pressure...

The OE way, it doesn't.

Default question???? The OEM intake is in the side, the piston has to travel up, allowing the air to move

down and out the bottom,,, it would seem as if they are fighting the piston in there oem position. or am I completely off on what's going on inside there....

Default Not really, because boost pressure enters through the side.
