considering the $1000 difference. im not gonna be tracking the car anytime soon but having a stage 3 car i need better brakes. im open to other suggestions...

the paint on the stoptechs absorbs color easily and they stain. plus i HATE the bridge system. good value and GREAT customer service though.
alcons are more my style. I got stoptechs b/c I was on a tighter budget, if I could have I would have bought alcons

...stoptech's are great brakes for $2k. Nothing wrong with anything.
I personally think you'll be getting better pedal feel in the Alcon's since they are a monobloc design. Defintitely better feel if you go 6 piston Alcon's. If you're running 18's or 19's, get some 14.5" 6piston Alcons, they are the biggest i know of for the S4, despite how large the Cayenne brakes look.
