Default Did some logs today, personal best FATS time achieved.

Not to hard to do considering I only started logging this week.

Mods: GIAC X, Autospeed Trudual, Piggie Pipes, Hole in airbox, 710n's.
93 octane 1/4 tank
55deg Ambient Temp

Result: 5.09

Now for some graphs

Ignition Timing

MAF Readings MAX: 258 g/s

And also a 2nd gear boost log.

FATS dropped from 5.44 the other day when my roommate was in the car with me, and I also took out some junk in the trunk, total ~200lbs.

I was wondering about the dip in timing around 6k rpm. What would be the cause of that? Can't wait to try out some 100oct, and see how much it will drop.

Default Is that the new GIAC X code? Odd that you only get 258 g/s...

since you have the Darintake. I have a stock airbox and pull 268-270 g/s at 58-60F ambient. What altitude are you at?

Default Not the most recent, flashed beginning of summer. 1000' elev. Maybe I should get the new code.

Default 1000' elev. might be the reason for MAF differences. Close enough. I'm at sea level...

so that helps. Is a summer flash of GIAC the new "low-boost" code? I thought that's when it came out. Seems like your boost ramps up slowly. I think someone posted slightly slower FATS times with the new code versus the old (forget who).

I pulled a best 4.71 FATS using 96 octane (AMS). I think your times are in line though...you have 93 octane and 1000' elevation. Try 100 and I think you'll get mid 4s. Comparing FATS between cars and different roads is tough though. Make sure you are on flat ground (and do averages of several reverse runs).

Default The new flash came out at the end of the summer. I am hesitant to get it because it is thought to be

slower. I don't experience any throttle cut, so I see no reason to get the "safer" code.

Right now my money is going towards turning and braking, time to find the excess weight in the car ;-p

Default Not very flat.

Best I found was your suggestion of the exit/on ramp on 285 north at I-75. That seems to work well in light traffic.
