Note: ~40F, ~900' above sea level, ~1/8 tank of 93 octane, stock weight, stock car (stock software boosting at ~.6bar peak) except for Pagid Sport pads up front and a B&M short shifter.
I did 2 3rd gear FATS type pulls and here were the results: ![]() ![]() Pretty cool how it dropped almost a second from when Nick Gustas, S4mig, and I were all in it and logged during the summer (~80F IIRC). And here is a graph of the primary 02 sensors: ![]() It's amazing what this car can do in stock form. With that said, I think a well setup stage 3 S4 is definitely faster. For comparison's sake, I pulled a 3.5x FATS time on the same stretch of road in similar conditions the other day...before trying some new tweaks and slowing my car down to a mid 3.6 tonight. ;p Even between my car and the 996TT tonight, I was suprised at how much slower the 996TT felt. I was amazed when I looked at the logs and saw similar #s. P.S.-996TT's gearing is quite similar. FATS range took place from ~4000 RPM to ~6200 IIRC, just slightly longer gearing. |

I'm pretty sure I was at the sweet spot or close to it before these latest tweaks, but I'm going to try -20% primary before returning to my previous settings.
