Default Odyssey PC925 Install - New Battery - PC925 Writeup:

(the above subject better guarantee you find this if you STFA!)

First of all, when installing a new Odyssey PC925 battery following LCP's instructions FOLLOW THEM TO THE T!!! As you remember, first, I bought the battery without the terminals. So they cost me $25 (additional).

So yesterday I bought the mounting hardware from R&S Strauss. They only had the 10" tiedowns so I bought them. 10" is too long! You NEED the 8" ones as in LCP's post!

So I found a couple old sockets I don't use anymore and used them as spacers until I can get a set of 8" if I decide to take the time to redo it.

Also, my battery bracket looks nothing like his does. I have a 2001.5 car and I think his is a 2000. Here are the pics:

If you have all the correct parts, and study LCP and my installs, this shouldn't take more than 1 hour.

Default Sweet. Looks very tiny in the OEM battery location. I heard that if not started, the battery dies

I heard that someone, I think m3killer or something, had an Odyssey 925 that died because he didn't start the car after a week. I believe he had a compustar alarm though.

Default you could have at least cleaned the damn tray out LOL...

jk That looks like a much better option to me then those tiny little ones. Though i havent really read up on the specs of the little ones I would think they would have more trouble turning the car over then that one.

Default Nice job!

A bunch of us have now used that same mounting bracket. It seems to have worked great for all of us.
