you'll definitely have to tilt the pipipe towards the drivers side if you want it to clear.
(1) On the pass side loosen the 10mm metal slider bracket(bolt behind intake tube) and pull it all the way forward. (2) Place the bipipe on the TB, tilt it to the drivers side some(I had to open up the bottom bipipe mounting screw hole with a drill so all three bolts would line up) and screw the drivers timing cover bolt in, make sure the timing cover dimple and the bipipe seat together. (3) Insert/tighten the drivers side down a little. (4) Slide the pass bracket over the timing cover bolt boss on the bipipe(this tang will not have a bolt in it), it will be held on by the bracket from now on. (5) Insert and then tighten the 3 TB bolts - do not overtighten any of these. (6) Push the pass bracket back on the bipipe tag until snug, tighten the 10mm bracket bolt. (7) Install the rest of the bipipe hose hardware and tighten. Bipipe should be nice and snug, and will clear the fan as stock does. I have not done this with Piggies spacers but works fine with the ASP ones, no leaks, no rubs. One thing to note is the passenger headlight may rub the bipipe/IC hose slightly. My RS4IC hose is now 3/4" off the bumper shock rail on the pass side, normal on the drivers. I adjusted the headlight front cup a bit and everything fits... even my AC hoses fit better with the RS4IC raised a bit. Works well. |
