Default Poll: Downpipe head shields, are you running them Yes or No Please....

and provide some details of why or why not if you feel like it. I am running ceramic coated modified stockers with no heat shields, and before that i was running no heat shields after i gutted the pre-cats, even without coating. i feel that without the pre cat there the heat shield isnt needed as long as all lines and wires are where thay are supposed to be and not touching anything.

Default I heat wrapped my dp's then cut the tops off my heat shields and attached them at the tops so the

wiring harness does not get to hot.

Default No, but I want to. I have an ERL pump on the firewall and want to keep it cool.

Default No, because Mark@ASP said I don't need them. Plus, it would have been a pain to put back.
