pretty vague subject line, but...
I've been GIAC chipped for almost 1 month now and I'm loving it. The only thing that I have to take care of is the spiking. I have the older code (just before this last revision) and it sometimes spikes to 19psi or so. I want to cap that at about 17psi, so I could either do MBC in parallel set to 17psi or, from what I hear, upgrade to the newest GIAC code (L308X i think?) which is supposedly a little more conservative, smoother, and inherently limits spikes to 17 psi. Any thoughts from anyone who has the newest code? Or can anyone give me a valid reason why one choice would be better than the other? Shank you

fixes everything, then put one in and call it a day.
Keep the program you have and then have the ability to use your software for something else someday (ie: potential home brew use).... The inability to tweak the new stuff with Lemmiwinks is a big negative in my book. |

I went with the newer code and switched over to Flashloader in the process. Less spiking as a result and feels much smoother. Didn't need to use MBC as a result. I'm happy for now since I avoided introducing another factor into the equation.
