Sorry about taking the pics through the wheels, I really don't feel like jacking the car up and taking them off.

Default Looks good to me, very similar to how mine look after bedding in new pads.

Default Thanks, but I still am not 100% happy with pedal feel...

since my miata has rock hard (I said hard) brakes, the S feels a bit mushy, is it just normal like that? It's better today than it was yesterday, and I might try to bleed them again in the next week or so, but could be 20% better IMO.

Default Go bed them again maybe? Different cars have different brake feel....

I went from the S4 to the 4runner today and almost killed myself, expecting much better braking in the 4runner as I was used to the S4. On the other hand, I almost slammed my face into the windshield when driving the 348 right after my S4 because of the difference in pedal feel.

Default I thought blue was from heat... I don't think all pads make the

rotors blue. Again, I've swapped many a pads on the miata, track/street/crap and not all got the blue hue.

Default Hmmm, thought I read that blue was the transfer. You're probably right.

So you didn't get it hot enough, then? ;-)
