I understand the imporance of having the WGs open N'Sync. However, despite the many posts I read I couldn't determine if there is a AW-universally accepted cracking pressure. Some folks say 3-5psi, others up to 10. Should I shoot for a nice round 8 and call it a day? TIA

You shouldn't have to adjust non-hybrid K04's but since most run them at a higher PR than intended it's prudent to increase WG actuator preload a bit...
8# should be enough to allow the WG full travel and give you a safe "stock boost" level to fall back on. |

my setup holds 20-21 psi to redline (just polished exhaust side a little)

use the boost side to apply pressure to wg actuators, watch for movement of the rod and check the pressure. at least that's what I did...
