The car was a bit faster.
I then tried home brew and my car was faster with home brew than it was with any of the AWE stuff I tried - both old and newer code (with and without a flow straightener), etc. etc..... So it remains a home brew car. |

I know we have spoken before on the phone, can't remember, when you were tweaking the AWEKO4 setup with a TCD, was it a 1.4 BAR TCD and did you run a MBC only setup or was it in parallel?
thanks

Anyway, it was faster at the same psi IIRC.
My home brew is: greenies (that came with the AWE fueling kit), Piggie's 85mm MAF, stock airbox with stock air filter (with a big Dar-intake), TCD and MBC alone. Running 22psi tapering to 20psi - it's fast. Oh, and not to start a flame war or anything, when I rec. stage III fueling to people who DO NOT like to tweak, I always rec. AWE's fueling kit because I think it's the fastest out there. If you want to spend time tweaking, you can make home brew as fast (or faster in my case) - who knows why my car wasn't as fast on AWE's fueling kit......whatever, they told me it was my car - - home brew goes in, NO OTHER changes and the car is faster - not my car. |
