the pros and cons of doing this?? if so,do you lose low end but gain high? TIA

Default that is the main principle......you'll increase lag slightly but gain flow in the higher rpms

The decreased efficiency of the turbine wheel during spoolup results in more lag but in the higher rpm's the turbine wheel is less of a hindrance to exhaust flow. There is also going to be a slight weight loss....but not enough to really make a noticeable difference.

Default Can someone explain what is done to the turbine to clearance, or clip the wheels?

Default clipping the turbine wheel means that you take material off the

"tops" of the fins, or the part of the fin furthest away from the bearing. Clearancing takes material away from the turbine housing to increase the clearance from the housing to the turbine wheel.
