Default 100 Octane Giac X runs

Put some 100 octane in the car on the way home from Toruqe Factory, Jeff and I did some runs but he had to run out of town before he could email them to me, but I was peaking at 1.1 bars at most with 91 octane.

Looks like about 1.2+ bar with the race gas.

Default Was The Cost Of Race Gas Worth The .1 Gain In Performance Over 91 Octane?...Doesn't Seem So To Me...

But I'm sure you were just doing it for $hits & giggles. From trolling this board, it's my understanding that most posters seem to get the real gains from race gas on the XR chip.

Default Yeah, I bet if I had the race program it would yield much

greater results. As is I had an empty tank and was curious what the difference would be under nice gas. Also just a change in pace was kind of fun.

Eventually I might get the race gas program and see what kind of trouble I can get into.

Default At only 100 (or less, since tank *never* empty), X adapts just fine. Found that XR didn't make that

much a difference until you start reaching 103 or more.

YMMV

Default As Flyboy said you should log the effect on timing, that's where the power gain is really shown
