Default opinion poll: does jacob buehn have a responsiblity to help pay for wastegate adj. costs?

i'm going to jose "el diablo" to get my wastegates adjusted this weekend to crack at ~9psi. seems like this is an adjustment that most consumers have had to do.

now should it have been jacob's responsiblity to tighten these wastegates or is his initial wastegate setting good for the avg user while those who need adjustment are just trying to get more out of the turbos?

has anyone had any experience trying to get jacob to pay some portion of the costs?

thanks,

Default He should at least communicate his WG settings in written form of some sort.....

Just to let people know what they have....or provide the settings on a requested basis.....that is, if he even knows where they are set....

Default No. He sets them to BW specs. Which is what they should be set to IMO.

If the user wants to tighten them that is their choice.

Default oh and another thought, he claims their performance is close to K04s. Shouldnt

the wastegate adj be in spec with the K04s?

Default Yes and No

Jacob sets them to factory specs before they leave the door. Remember these are race parts of his and he really has no means of testing them except using us and we kinda agree to that by buying them in the first place. Adjusting the wastegates is not a big deal anyways I have a tip and did it in 30-40 mins. Goodluck and make sure you use a mityvac.
