Although I do not regret it I only did it b/c the installer I was using was really not feeling good about a resurfaced dual mass (out of ignorance in my opinion but no offense intended).
I didn't want him to have any excuse for installation problems so at the point I was going to buy a new one might as well be lighter. Revs are faster and this is really nice. The noise is mildly annoying - I live in an area that is ripe with huge speed humps (not bumps) and it is hard to power away in 2nd gear without a racket. All in all I am kind of on the fence on this mod. In my last project car (E36 M3 the flywheel was more noticeable in performance, but much louder and more annoying). Buy it from Piggie www.vastperformance.com - I paid much less then advertised elsewhere and he has 110% stood behind his hardware for me. Hope this helps.

My car is a daily driver. If it were a track-whore I'd prolly go with one.

I made the switch from a Spec stage 5 6-puck clutch & LWFW to the Sachs racing clutch and LW steel flywheel. The Sachs unit holds the power and is very well mannered. Definitely worth the extra coin. Still a tiny bit of chatter when driving around the pits with a hot clutch, but not near as bad as the aluminum alternative.

Clutchmaster's Stage 4 w/ LWFW. This is a great clutch for Stg. 3. Skip RS4, you'll burn it up.
