Since some people (bishes) were nagging me on how it's going, I figured I'd give you guys a mid-tweak update. Here's my "official" results while tweaking it to my "street" boost settings of ~22psi peak and 20.5 at redline. I still haven't nailed down my optimal AFR, but I'm trying
By the end of next week I'll "kick it up a notch" to ~25 peak tapering to 22 for a serious assault on the 3 second mark. Ambient was in the mid 70's, Fuel was 94 at about a quarter tank. O2's still aren't lining up as they should, so I'll be swapping them out for my spare set tonight or tomorrow night. I think the oil ingestion from my previously deceased turbo is affecting their readings. ![]() Timing was abysmal: Peak at 15. I have a banging cat-back (welded milltek) that I need to rectify before I can start diagnosing a potential problem with oil-soot in the combustion chambers causing it. I suppose a tankful of FATS runs on 100oct should fix it Given the chart above, I'm thinking it could be either. Man: but check out that flow. 451g/s!!! (88mm MAF housing)AND the curve isn't decreasing at all yet, (those little waves are the boost controller stepping in) so there's a bit more flow left ![]() ![]() ![]() One interesting thing in this graph: When you see the r/s JUMP it's because the timing has jumped. At 5400 and 5900 timing jumped to up and then it went back down again. Notice the corresponding increase in acceleration at those points. Once I get that timing sorted this thing will be really quick, without any extra boost! |

I have spares so if I'm pulling em out I might as well replace em. Maybe I'll clean those too before putting em in.

Pretty cool. I wanna give this FATS thing a try tonight. Do you do two pulls in opposite directions and then average them?

Don't doubt you at all, just don't see 451 on that graph.
