Default Stasis Tracksport 600/700 adjusting and settings questions and poll...

I bought my used S4 with the Stasis Tracksport 600/700 coilovers and I don't have any instructions on how to adjust the dampening and ride height.

I'm curious as to how to adjust the rear dampening and how to adjust the ride height.

What is everyone with this setup have for their settings?

Thanks,
Paul

Default This might help you (I think I'm going to use these settings when I install my TS's this weekend)...

Hope that helps.

Default do you know if the car was ever corner weighted?

if not, get that done first. while thats being performed, you can select your ride height.

i don't remeber my ride height off hand, but i've got zero toe all around, 1.7 degrees camber in the front and 1.5 degrees in the rear. with this setup, and a neuspeed 19mm rear bar (set on still) i can throttle steer the car pretty well. overally, your alignment will have a tremendous effect on the handling of your car. toe (neutral or out) and camber are your friends. when selecting ride height, always head ryans4's advice that tracksports dont like to be slammed. if you STFA you'll find some of his previously suggested settings.

good luck.

Default I would think so. It handles very well from stock...

but the ride is a little harsh and choppy. I'd like to dial it down a little.

Default Thanks, it had what I'm looking for but how do you measure the ride height?...

If you change the ride height do you have to re-corner balance the car?
How about if you change the dampening?
Thanks,
Paul

Default Sedan or Avant? 600/700s are stiff with the original TS valving.

Avants need a bit more(not much) spring in the rear. That said I personally feel that the shocks in the TS kit are UNDER damped for 600/700 and higher. Search for Bonestocks experience with TS spring rates. I run 550/650's now in my Avant and almost full rebound F/R. I like it now.

I had 600/700 and never could get it dialed in even at max F/R. The shocks just could not keep up with those rates in my opinion(which is limited so take that FWIW).

If the car was corner weighted, and you change the ride height, you'll need to CW again. You change ride height by adjusting the threaded spring seats on each CO body.
