Default hey guys do you think having a boost leak would actually........

cause me to spike 2 high? because i have a manual boost controller only setup, and i spike to 21 but hold 16, tell me if you think this is normal. i also have a code, charge pressure negative deviation. when i was spiking 25 and holding 20-21 i got another code which was charge pressure positive deviation. tell me what you think. thanks

Not really.

Seems ambient has affected your MBC settings. Turn it down.

I'd run MBC in parallel and set the MBC to the max of the spike if I were you. Well, if you need a k04 upgrade excuse for the wife... leave it as is.

Default well these are hybrids, do you think they would still blow like this? and also does that dtc mean...

i have a boost leak?

Default no..but it would cause your CF's to be unusually high @ 16psi and sucky timing *cough*

I'm assuming you're running GIAC X. You're getting those codes because of one thing. Your requested/actual boost is based on a curve. Your actual curve differs from your requested curve in the low end, because it's too low, Now you have a code.

What's that mean to you? Very little, because you're running an MBC solo.

What I'd do: Run somewhere in-between where you get the negative and positive deviation. I'd say spike at 23 or so and taper to 19. That setting should be money.
