Default Something seems off, there are many cars running the RS4 injectors @ 4 bar with plenty of fuel

, especially 91. He must be moving alot of air, hybrids I assume ?

Bad fuel pump ?

Default K16 hybrids flowing ~250 g/s in AWE MAF. I've seen more airflow on RS4s@4bar....

It could very well be something wrong with his car. I wouldn't be suprised at all. The fact still remains that for wahtever reason he has a lack of fuel.

As for a bad fuel pump, I've seen a few fail and they always resulted in a tapering 02 voltage log. His is linear and low across the board. It could be, though.

IIRC, Simpply built this motor from scratch with lots of different parts not included in AWE kit. Who knows what's wrong!? :-/

Default do you think it is his Maf housing too big, scale down air flow too much

but yet getting alot of air so not enough fuel? just a guess!

Default No! If that were teh case, everyone with AWE kit would have this problem.

Default Yea, they need more richitude. Seriously, if I lived there I'd get a wideband.

O2's get very inaccurate past .88 .

Default True but is that the normal guideline on homebrew?

say the one using 85mm vs 88mm or 90mm?

Default I'm not really following. It should never be an issue.

Default That shouldn't be an issue...

AWE software and MAF should work great with RS4 squirters with minor tweaks on K04's. Something's amiss here, but it's not with any of those items, imo.

BUT, if someone want's to get larger fueling I'm all for it.

Default i guess my question is, is it true that with K04 it sucks in so much air

to a point that it will max out the maf sensor say in the north side of 300g/sec and that is the whole point of using larger Maf housing to scale down the reading and yet get enough air flow! now i guess my question is:

1. the higher the number on maf reading the more fuel it will spray.

2. the larger the maf housing is, it will scale down maf reading not necessary less air

am i on the right track or totally wrong? please help!

Default Yes, you're absolutely right. We scale MAFs and injectors because they are our limiting factors....

Bigger housings results in lower airflow readings for same amount of air.
