Default I just roughed in my aquamist water injection system and I'm lovin' the results.

The big special thing about my install is that I mounted 1 jet in the bipipe between the map sensor and the throttle body. With the throttle plate wide open, I doubt any of the water even touches the IAT sensor. The point of fooling the IAT sensor is to lower CFs under boost without the ecu switching to a more agressive timing map due to a lower IAT reading.
I logged a second gear pull and got 26.25 degrees of timing!!!!!! at 106 degree F IAT. I don't mean 26.25 degrees for a moment in time, I'm talking about a 300 rpm spread above 25 degrees.
Oh yeah, the car felt faster too

Default I got system 2d from an individual in the AW classifieds.

It also came with 2 pressure accumulators (a must) and a bunch of different sized jets.
I feel like a got a pretty good deal since everything works I paid a little less than half of what everything would cost new.

Default you know the nozzle should be 6-8 inches away from the TB right?

Default I'd like a more detailed write up about it. My DSM friend wants to put one on my car sooooo bad!

Default Did you do a similar run at the same time w/o the W/I on?

Default That's what aquamist tells you.

I've seen a few installations on Miatas that are AFTER the throttle body.
Aquamist markets their systems as an intercooling device. Water injection can also act the same way as an octane additive, provided it doesn't completely vaporize before it enters the combustion chambers.

Default I've logged a similar run in similar conditions without the W/I on.

Timing was about 6-7 degrees lower with a much choppier timing curve and higher knock voltage.
I'll post some with and without logs in a couple of weeks. My install is pretty ghetto because I was prepared to pull the system right off and sell it if it didn't do what I wanted it to do. Now I need to clean things up, make sure the system is going to be reliable, adjust everything and find the sweet jet size.
Sorry for the teaser :/ I was just so stoked I had to post!

Default I'll do a small write up soon. With your setup, I recommend installing just like MarkP did.

His setup will have greater intercooling properties, which is exactly what you need. If you run X, K03s and stock intercoolers, a setup like MarkP's would really help you out.
I was having a bad problem with high CFs and a super choppy timing curve with my homebrew setup, which is pretty unique, so I decided to change the positioning of my water jet.
