Default Boost logs with stock N75, ECS N75 RACE, and MBC only.

This is with MTM stg IV software.
Sorry about the different logging conditions and my graphing skills as well.

First is stock N75. I was seeing a good bit of boost taper.

My N75 stopped working after I tried to adjust it, so I sprang for ECS Tuning's N75 RACE. It came with a major boost spike, but the taper was gone. I personally don't have too much of a problem with it. Whatever midrange torque I had lost after installing the 2.8L cams was back with a vengeance after I put this valve on. It could have been a little smoother though.

After seeing that my software didn't cut throttle or set any boost deviation codes after the RACE N75's antics, I decided to try an MBC only without a Throttle Cut Defender.

As you can see, the MBC only setup rocks.

Default I can't tell from the rpm axis for sure but it looks like the mbc only is quite a bit

slower in boost ramp than the race n75. Is that the case?

Default The RPM axis doesn't show rpm. Hard to compare.

Default It says rpm on the axis for two of them so I assumed it was probably similarly scaled. But that's

also why I asked the question.

Default Seems it's labeled RPM (last one), but just using a default numbering. Doubt it's scaled correctly.

Default if the RPm is correct, MBC only sees full boost at 3200 rpm, the others see full boost around 4600

the scaling is different on the graphs and im not sure if the graphs were set up correctly, but thats what the numbers say.

Default True. Hopefully he can just answer the question about which ramps faster.

Default Sorry it took so long to reply. Same spoolup for MBC and N75 race.

The N75 race log was taken in a 1-2 gear pull, so I got back into the boost at a much higher RPM.
The stock log may have been 3rd gear, the others second.
I can't tell a difference in spoolup for any of the three devices, just differences in boost peak and taper.

Default My graphing skills leave something to be desired. The MBC only X axis is actually time.
