Default you have to hold the stalk down, then turn the key to the ON position, while holding the left one

down, press the right one.

Try it the other way also, holding the right one, then press the left one, etc.

Default From the users manual (I should get paid for this) Resetting the interval Display...

Resetting the interval display
The service department at your authorized Audi Dealer will reset the display after perfoming the required service.

If the service is not perfomed by your authorized Audi Dealer, the display must be reset as follows:

Turn off the ignition

Then, turn on the ignition again WHILE holding the button (2)(pusing in the right odometer control knob) down. "SERVICE!" will appear in the display.

Press the (1)(pushing in the left odometer control knob) until the "SERVICE!" text is cleared. The display should now show the next service event.

NOTE

Do not reset the display between service intervals, otherwise this will result in an incorrect display.

The service display information will remain intact even if the battery is disconnected.
