![]() There were some concerns about two years ago if insert piece would stay bolted and if gases would not burn it through....Well, it did not fall off, nor desintegrated under heat. However, fastening bolts were gone after we tried to loose them. Big PITA to remove it so that KO4 inserts can be bolted in. Now, what left me wondering was that rust on a flange. When I ordered SS option, it was expected that the whole assembly will be stainless, not just piping. Perhaps were was some fine print I did not read.... BTW flanges on a CATs are all rusted too

the new Labree downpipes have a spacer that will fit K03 and K04 turbos. It's hard to tell the difference, but the spacer has one edge ground down a little more.

![]() BTW : You can now get aluminium spray to coat and seal the wrap to help survive oil, moisture.
