Default For you homebrew tooners and the archives.

Did some lemmi adjustments on Sunday with my new bits...RS4 MAF w/ Hitachi sensor (thanks piggie), RS4 airbox. I am running greentops.
<edit> with X-chip

Pulling 11.5% primary gets you in a pretty good spot w/ fueling and timing correction IMO. I'll note that with different intakes (MAF and Airbox/filter) your results will likely differ quite a bit. The RS4 Airbox has a bell shaped inlet leading to the MAF...I'd venture that it is there for a reason;-)

I had a few degrees of timing pulled to begin with...I'll add some back when:
It gets cooler (85 and humid when I did this)
I run higher octane
Less boost (currently at about 19-20psi)

Other mods worth noting:
AWE ICs
RS4 K04s
ASP Phenolic spacers.

Default For comparison

A little more fuel pulled back and more timing pulled pulled by the ECU.
I did not keep adding fuel in to see how far I could improve timing. Tweaking for another day.

I will say that I started at -15% and drove around a bit to get a reading on fuel trims (didn't go WOT). They were pretty close to 0 so I didn't risk a WOT run as it is too lean IMO...torque felt noticeably stronger at low boost (part throttle)than with my final setting of -11.5.

Anyhow, your comments and experience is appreciated.

Default That's not redline, is it? With only that much fuel pulled, I'd expect much higher 02 voltages.

Most people pull 20%+ with greentops and RS4 MAF to get a nice AFR.

Default It's not bad, but lower CF means better timing

Default No change in filter, haven't checked fuel pressure but...

I was much richer using my old intake set-up. I adjusted Lemmi to -24% primary and was still getting 0.89V O2s back then.

This is right where I want it to be

Default So does that log show you WOT at redline or not? I can't imagine it is.

Seriously, log 003 and 031 together even so you can get an idea of what RPM you are at. I say easy .9 02 voltages, but what do I know....

Default Yeah but is that also with an RS4 airbox?

The two parts were designed to work together. Remember the RS4 airbox has a bellmouth in it.
