i can unbolt the straight LCA from the subframe and that will give me enough clearance to pull out the shocks.?
also are the bolts torque to yeild? if they are, where can i pick up the bolts/nuts/washers that i will need?

i read that i dont have to, i just want to confirm.
"if you replace your stock suspension you do NOT have to unbolt the upper ctrl arms.. way too much work that is not needed. you just unbolt the lower straight ctrl arms from the front subframe , that will give you enough space to take the bottom of the shock off the ctrl arm (while you push down the bearing housing by the rotor)." - lemiuex i searched for that.

if I was doing the install, I'd pull the upper arms, but if there's a possibility of that control arm bolt being siezed then "faggetaboutit".
