Default Wastegate Adjustment a smashing sucess!!

After 2 1/2 hrs of wrestling with it I got it done.

For those that didnt see my original post here was the problem. Car would not meet requested boost and had a slow spool and massive boost taper in high rpm.

Hooked up a MityVac to the wastegate hose at the N75 ran the hose under the car so I can see when the WGs start to crack. Drivers side turbo cracked at 7psi passenger side cracked at 5psi. For those that dont know I have K04/K16s. Adjusted the nut exactly 10mm from the bottom of the adjustment rod starting at the 1st tread. This equated to crack pressure at exactly 10psi and for every pump of the MityVac opened it more. Here is an observation I have from doing this. If you go beyond 10mm with the adjustment nut seems you cant get enough throw out of the rod to make the wastegate open up to full travel (All the way open) no matter how much pressure is applied to the Acuator. Seems 10mm is the max you can go on the rod to be a happy medium for full travel. Car is back to being sick again I had to turn down the boost with my controller because it now pegs beyond 25psi so all is well!! Also the delay in spool is gone its instant now, no lines no waiting. For those doing it Passenger side WG adjustment nut can be done up top of the car just remove the accordion pipe out of the way. Drivers side had to be done from the bottom of the car, I lowered the subframe to make it ez'r.

I have a question for those out there that *might* know something about the N75 controller. I noticed that it has a hose that appears to be connected to the valve covers. I think this hose is refered to as 'Atmosphere' I am having a problem with my car burning oil. I took off the PCV (Space ship looking thing) on the y-pipe and found a good amount of oil in there. I was pondering this what if I disconnect that 'Atmosphere' hose and cap everything off, you think this would help solve my problem?? I have a feeling it might be pressurizing my valve cover area causing the burning oil condition? Any suggestions?? No oil seems to be missing from the crankcase I checked the dipstick.

Default Sure

Disconnect hose that leads to Wastegate actuators which is located on the side of the N75 towards the drivers side. take that hose and a barb and connect it to another hose of equal diameter. Connect the mityvac lay under car start pumply slowly until you see the WG move mark that down as 'initial crack pressure' Adjust wastegate accordingly as I said in my post, then re-test. Note that the said procedure should be done on turbos that have the K16 compressor mod. Stock crack pressure for a K04 is about .48 - .5 Bar. If you blow up your turbo or car dont blame me
