TAP Chip Before and after tuning...
![]() Revo Before and After tuning... ![]() Well once again another Dyno night at EIP. All test are done on 91 CrapTane. Threw the same car on the Dyno as the night before (we tested/tweaked his TAP chip see below for link from the night before) Since TAP is CRAP and EIP is a REVO distributor, we decided to flash the ECU using Revo's 5 hour trial and tweak around with Lemmiwinks a bit as well as some other software. You can see the results above. I am very surprised with REVO's software...A?F ratios looked really good unlike my AMS without tweaks...After we got the car off the DYNO we wanted to see what his car could do against mine (click on the links in my Sig to see my dyno results) We both have the same performance mods just different software. Anyway I have a video of it just need someone to host it because this website might make you download something in order to see it. Anyway, click Here (Right Click Save As) to download the video. As you can see I got the jump on him but he came back and we were pretty much even the whole time. The night before I was able to pull on him about 2 cars lengths with the tweaked TAP crap software. Gotta plot out my dyno numbers later today and calculate shift points...FYI - Stock EVO on this dyno gets 200whp...on Dynojet same stock EVO got 260 whp so don't be fooled by the low numbers on the base runs... Next Test....Giac X chip so if anyone in the San Jose area want to let me borrow your A Box ECU for a few hours, Please email me. You can stay and watch as well =) |

Does your lack of response mean you're not interested in the trade for my APR v5.0 A-box anymore? Lemme know either way...i don;t like being left hangin.
