Default As KOpork said ceramic coat them

I just ceramic coated mine, in fact, I ceramic coated the RS4 Y-Pipe that you sold me...

Lemme know If you want me to coat yours. I can turn it around pretty quick.

Default I wrapped mine, then got some thick aluminum fuel tank shielding and formed it to fit over the wrap.

It doesn't cover the entire inlet, just fits between the exhaust manifolds and the inlet pipes. I formed it by making the appropriate cuts with tin snips, then hammered it into shape with a plastic hammer over my old K03 inlets so I wouldn't scratch up my K04 inlets. The resulting shape was close enough and after I zipped it tight with stainless zip ties it fit nicely.

My intercooler temp sensor registered 3-5 degrees lower IC temps at cruise as compared to my k03 setup. Temp drops are probably not measureable at WOT and may even be a waste of time...
