crazy night, cops, robbers, a chase......long..... bad spelling/grammer, adrenaline still pumping

ok so to paint the picture for you guys of whats been happening:

we moved into our house in november of 04, we live about 1.5 miles from a large high school and Jr. high in a upper class suburb of tacoma, WA. since the day we moved in we have been getting "cased out" by some ricer punks if you dont know what this means you need to watch more TV. at first we thought they were just being annoying by driving by all the time but then Jason (the kid that we rent the basement floor to) recognized one of the cars and said that he knows about some people in that little group and they are the guys who steal cars around here.
Yippie ya, so i have been on aleart about them. these guys drive buy atleast 3 times a day, very slow, staring at the house. sometimes at night someone will walk into the living room and see one of their cars parked across the street or close by and then when they see someone through the window they take off. all sorts of crap.

A few weeks ago a guy came to the door and asked if i was interested in the Myers carpet cleaning system, i said no and goodbye, he was persistant and said it would be free and it would only take a few minutes. at this point i steped aside and pointed out I had hardwood floors so there was no point. He then said the system worked good for hardwood floors, um ok. I basically said look i dont have time. He was persiatant about coming inside and when i got pissed he quickly changed the subject to my cars out front, asking lots of questions. finally i told him to just give me a flyer or info packet and i would look it over another time. His reponse "sorry my partner has them all and he is a few houses down." With that said i closed the door, then ran upsatirs to the window to see what he does while leaving. He was peeking in the windows of the cars and writing something down. he then proceded to walk a block down to his HONDA CIVIC get in and leave. here is what was wrong with this picture a) no info on product he is selling or demo equipment B) no partner a house or two away c) parked his car where he thought it was out of sight from me d) why would he care about my cars, he is there to sell carpet stuff e) was very insitant on getting inside, even though i dont have carpet. so i got his plates and called the cops to report what happened, of course they did nothing.

Then last saturday morning my wife runs to the grocery store, goes around the block and comes back saying that the A4 is driving funny, she thought the wheels were bent. i told her to just take the S4 and i would look at it. Go outside and both drivers side wheels only have 2 lugs loosly holding them on F*CK!! obviously these idiots were trying to take the wheels while we were out to dinner the night before. who knows what scared them off. so i take it these guys must be getting very frustrated by this cause they have been watching us for 2 months now and have gotten shafted repetedly.

So tonight it went down in a big way. I am sitting upsatirs on the computer at about 10:15, i swear i can here a car (or cars) running, kind of a deep tone. i passed it off as my neighbors Z06. after a few minutes i hear it get louder, go to the side window of the office and my neighbors driveway is empty, go to the bedroom and look out, WTF there are two cars in our driveway. One dude is out of the car and standing next to the S4 doing something and the other is trying to slimjim Jason's girlfreinds neon. i threw on some shoes and yelled to jason who was watching a movie that people were breaking into the cars. I grab my keys out of habit and i happened to have an army E-tool (small very sharp shovel) by the back door to pick up dog crap and i go busting out the door probably looking like a madman with a little shovel and head right for the guy with by the S4, he makes a break for his ride and jumps in and takes off. meanwhile here comes Jason with his freakin gun, looking way more pissed than me (i didnt even know he had a gun till tonight) the other dude is jumping in his car as jason is pointing the gun at his head screaming "i will F*cking kill you" the dude doesnt even close his door before trying to take off and stalls the car, by then it was to late for him. Jason had one hand on his cell phone calling the cops and another with the gun pointing at this guy telling him to lay on the ground. it was the floor cleaning salesmen. go figure, one down, one to go.

I then jumped in the S4 and went to chase down the other bastard, he was already up the road but the ironic part of this is that his stupid fart can helped me know which way he had gone, with the windows down on an other wise quiet night it was easy to follow the noise. so i get him in sight about an 1/8 mile ahead and sure enought he barely gets through a yellow light and i have to stop (being the law abiding person i am) so after a rotation of the lights i get the green and take off after him, i dont know if he even knew i was behind him but he was going pretty fast and was way up ahead, i decided i was not letting him get away and just went for it, i was doing about 90 in a 35 zone and of course i blow by a cop. i right away just threw on my signal and pulled over with out him even hitting his lights, he came up very fast on me put on the spot light, i pulled the keys out put them on the dash flipped on the dome lights rolled all the windows down and put my hands on the head rest behind my head (thank you audiworld) he was PISSED, right away i said "i know i am a stupid ******* and was totaly in the wrong but real quick can i tell you wahts is going on?" he told me to go for it and quickly i rattled off what was happening, that i was just trying to get the guys plate # and gave a discription of the car, he had heard the call over the radio so knew i wasnt lying. he took my license and told me to stay there, jumps in his cruiser and heads down the road with the lights and sirens blaring. so here i am sitting thinking whats next.

About 45 seconds go by and another cop pulls up behind me and says he is going to follow me to the house. we get there and i then learn that the first cop caught the other guy. kid #1 was in tears, jason was getting lectured about pointing guns at people and i was getting writen a ticket. Fun stuff i tell you. luckily the first cop came before it was all over to give me my license. he told the other cop not to give me a ticket because i had essentially pulled myself over and because the way i acted when pulled over, he was pretty cool about it, i guess these guys have been at this for a while and they were just glad someone finally was in a position to catch them. the flat bed finally left with the one car to the impound lot and i get to go to bed.

wonder what tommorrow will bring of this?????

at least one person would have died or been shot after jason engaged in a heated karate fight scene and the honda would have rolled after i chased him down and bumped him at speed after exchanging mean faces with him, exploding on impact after the 4th roll ofcourse. then when i got back to the house my supermodel wife and jasons supermodel girlfriend wouldnt have been asleep.
