Funny how this works...you look at it, it's so simple, but where the hell are you gonna find a piece that you can substitute. Your brain says "I'm not paying $500 just because of one tiny little broken bit"...and a week later, you're spending $500. Call some of the places in my parts thread, and see if they can get it for less.

with four rectangular plates radiating out from center. I think the disc is plastic, and the four rectangular plates are what is rubbing on the top/bottom plates. I tried putting it back together without the broken disc in there, but that didn't do any good.
