How much labor to take apart a check for 2nd gear syncro failure?..not to fix it

i would charge 700 for Removing trans, and rebuild. doesn't matter if i don't repair it, but check.

second gear, sometimes first gear too. Slider assembly may come with 1 & 2 syncro rings, IIRC.

Wondering if I should bother with an extended warranty -- 2 most likely failures are 2nd gear and turbos.

your parts, and who you have do the work. Sometimes it's easier to buy a used one.

Don't ask my opinion on extended warranties. STFA for those miseries.
