After all the posts asking how to do this, here is a post on how to do it with link to the correct software.
First, If your laptop has more than 1 usb port, things are very easy. If your laptop has ONLY 1 usb port, its kind of annoying because you have to switch drivers every time you go back and forth from VAG to lemmiwinks. I will describe how to do it with at least 2 ports... Designate 1 port for lemmiwinks and another port for VAG. For example, right port for VAG, left port for Lemmiwinks. If you are already using VAG, Keep the port that you have now for VAG and just assign a new one for lemmiwinks. Unplug the VAG cable and plug it in the "lemmiwinks" port. Go to your device manager in your computer and click to "update driver" for the Vag and select the one provided in the zip file from the link. Once you do this, check which COM port gets created and set lemmiwinks to that port. Lemmiwinks *should* work now. If you want to use Vag functions, just unplug the cable and plug it in the USB port that you designated for VAG and it should work too. You can now only switch the cable from port to port depending on what you want to use. If you have only 1 port, you have to uninstall the serial port emulator with the uninstall program in the zip file and reinstall VAG drivers EVERY time you want to switch. Once you get tired of doing this, buy a USB hub and follow the other instructions.
