Default MBC install help.

I'm installng the MBC in place of the N75. After searching the archives all I found was diagrams, but no pics of an actual MBC installed. From what I understand the MBC plugs right place using the wastegate and boost hoses that go to the N75. The ambient hose remains plugged into the N75. From my pic can someone confirm that it's installed correctly? Also when adjusting the MBC do you guys start with the screw all the way out and work your way down or start it at some point like 1/2 way?

TIA

Default Looks good.

When I adjusted it I blew into the MBC and screwed it down until I had some resistance. That should be safe.

Watch your boost gauge very carefully. The first few turns you're gonna say "wtf?" and think it's not working, but it will start making big changes in pressure quickly so be careful. 1/4 turn can make a readable difference in pressure.

Default Are you running your MBC by itself or with N75 too?

Default By looking at his picture, he is running by itself. To run

them in parallel you must SPLIT the boost and vacuum hoses.

Default hmm...I had the screw all the way out and had resistance...

could it be a bad spring in the MBC? couldn't really blow anything out of it. also do I need to put in the TCD now or can I do some runs to set the boost to proper levels first?

Default the N75 is still electronically plugged in.

we just removed the pressure hoses and transfered them to the MBC.

Default If your going to leave the N75 in like that

you want to loop a hose betwen the 2 open ends of the N75.

Default That's in parallel with the N75.

He asked about the N75 by itself.

As Audi2ptzero suggested, loop a peice of hose between the open ends of the N75.

As for adjusting, back it all the way out and slowly tighten and test until you reach the desired boost pressure.
