Default taking the head off

i am wondering what taking the head off all entails, meaning tools, time, etc... i know this is a very difficult job but it needs to be done(spark plug threading is stripped) any help is appreciated

Default Regardless of what bentley says, they can come out without the motor coming out. That said,

it would probably be faster and easier to drop the subframe and pull the head. Special tools -- you'll need the vw/audi head bolt tool -- basically a ribe type bit. It's available online and is not too expensive.

Did not look at the headbolts when playing with cams recently(heads were off the car).

Default Been really out of touch and busy. I want to see those pics of the dvd

remote location. You know....since I bought the nav+ and all.

I could get used to working on people's cars for mod-money. Heh.
