Default Valentine 1 Remote display + Remote Power/Volume/Mute = Way Cool!! B5/B6/C5/B7/AR/RS6- >

When I started this project my goal was to take the remote, stealth Valentine One display, originated by Toy Guy Design to another level..I wanted to use this display and ultimately have it be the central location for other monitoring functions.

Stage I:
Hard wired the V1 off fuse panel...no big deal.

Stage II:
Made the remote display housing. While I was at it I made a a dozen or so extras. Just as easy to make ten as it is to make one..production line style.

Fluffhead's and star607's B7 RS4 Installs

Google "valentine one display audi"

Mounted the display in the traditional spot. Click here... for a quick vid of it...

Stage III:

Instead of the usual remote mute, I mounted the On/Off, Volume, Mute in the arm rest location.

Stage IV:

I'm going to use that small speaker in the drivers door, which is for the cell phone, I no longer use, as a dedicated V1 speaker...do that tomorrow! Stage Iv units now have the remote audio broadcast placed virtually anywhere in the car.. A-Pillar, in an AC vent, behind a piece of trim...!!

==============Updated===============
I have since done a full setup in the RS6 which uses the same trim as the A6 & S6... with mute buttons mounted on the cruise stalk, and in the shift boot...

----------Toy Guy Design Variable Height Short Shift------------

Over the years I have had no less than four Short Shifters in my S4... Neuspeed, UUC, Tanoga and most recently a Toy Guy. My first Toy Guy Short Shift was shortened by one inch and was dead perfect..hard to improve upon... But improve Toy Guy has with the Variable Height Short Shift for the Audi!! Adjust the height by as much as an inch up or down and enjoy the silky smooth performance of the TG SS combined with different shift *****, at different heights!! Contact Toy Guy at Toy Guy Design!!
