Hi - I just finished installing a Navi + unit. I have 8 CD Panasonic changer. The Navi+ is working fine with the exception of it not showing or playing any CD's. It says NO CD for all the 6 slot it shows.
Any suggestions as to what could be done to rectify this? (the changer wokred fine with the Symphnoy unit that I had) Thanks |

I installed NAV+ some time back and there are tons and tons of wires to connect (as I'm sure you know) - I can't imagine why your changer does not work, unless the wiring to the CD changer was somehow messed up.
FWIW, I had a stock 6-disk changer that worked fine with the NAV+ and have since removed it to replace with a Blitzsafe adapter to wire to an iPOD - that works too. If you can't get it to work, you might want to try swapping in someone's stock 6-disk changer just to see if it is some incompatibility issue with the Panasonic you have. |

Would there be any 'recoding' required in the Navi+ for the Panasonic changer? I think it comes coded or the Audi OEM changer.
I will try to get a OEM working (need to figure out where to get one to test from) Thanks |

00207 for nonBose and
00117 for Bose I'd check that you have a 7 in that last field first. It is either coded to enable the changer interface or disable it. No distinction between different makes/models in the Nav+ or Sym units that I am aware of. |

check the radio setting thru a VAG, to make sure the CD changer is enabled.

The point is that while Symphony was pretty flexible, Navi+ seems to only be compatible with exactly the Audi OEM CD Changer.
I fixed my problem by switching to Phatnoise After spending more than couple of grand on Navi+, what's another $800 ;-)

I know it worked fine for me. No problems whatsoever. I had the 8-disc Panasonic Cd changer.
