Can someone email me at domatek123@aol.com or quynhp@broadcom.com the wiring diagram for the DIY mod? I wanted to use the fog light switch on the dash. Thanks in advance. I did do a research but came up with nothing....actually it might be better to just post it because it'll help someone out in the future.

Pretty easy to do. Here's my instructions I put together using pictures from AutoSpeed, information from other people's posts here on AudiWorld, and my own experience. This is assuming you've removed your foglights or don't want to use them anymore, and you have mister plumbing installed.
1. Remove lower panel cover under the steering wheel. 2. You should be able to see a brown relay with the number 389 written on it. It looks like this: ![]() 4. Pull the whole brown relay box out. 5. Once you pull out the brown box, you'll see a blue relay connector. Release the 4 tabs on the blue connector and PUSH it out of the carrier. Here is a picture of the relay connector still in the carrier: ![]() 6. When the connector is out of the carrier, you will see a thick red/purple wire coming from the back of it. Cut the wire. Here is a picture: ![]() 7. Connect a wire to the end of the red/purple wire that says "controller pump power" in the previous picture. 8. Remove foglamp switch. 9. When you take the foglamp switch out, you will see 6 wires coming out of the back. Find the wire thats white with a yellow stripe and cut it. (sorry I don't have a picture of this) 10. Run the wire you connected to the 389 relay connector up through the dash and through the hole where the foglight switch used to be. (you might need to use a wire clothes-hanger or something for this) 10. Connect your wire to the end of the white w/yellow stripe wire that goes into the foglamp switch. 11. Reinstall the blue relay 389 connector and plug the brown relay box back in. 12. Test it out. If all goes well, make sure all of your wiring is connected securely (no exposed metal wires), and put your foglamp switch back into place in the dash. This is a momentary switch, so you'll have to keep the switch held down for the misters to keep spraying.
