Default $8.00 camera mount FINISHED! :D

a couple days ago, I decided to go out and make a camera mount for my upcoming trip to Petit Le Mans.

Eight dollars, a couple trips to home depot, and a LOT of drilling later...voila!

It fits like a glove, it's ROCK solid, and it's sturdy. Very little vibrating, on bumps it tends to just sway a tad bit (thanks to steady shot).

Overall, very cool. And very fun. Best of all, I don't even know it's there...I can't even see it in the rearview.

It's even 100% Gapina approved.

Who wants one? 50 bucks each! ;-)

PS-does anyone have a utility that will convert .mov's to .mpgs? I've got video, but it comes out too large in the .mov format (using a mac with Final Cut).

I'm currently making a second one. I'll have to take pics and post them.

It's REAL easy...I mean, look at who's making it ;-)

Default my inspiration!

that site gave me inspiration...

BUT...modifications must be made to that design for our cars...

we have HUGE headrest poles. and it's not easy making holes for them.
