Default My butt dyno with chip review

I don't have the real dyno number, but did test it with other driver who run with me from time to time as well as the butt dyno.

APR; Slowest chip out there for the M box. Boosted about 16+ PSI

MTM: alots of low end torque power and almost as fast as ABT, it about 1/2 car length slower to ABT on the 3rd gear. This chip is good for light to light racing. Adapted well to the race gas. Boosted only 14 PSI, the lowest boost chip out there

ABT: very fast, a little faster then MTM, but give a lot of code, also when doing WOT, the ABS and ESP light goes off. This chip can adapted well to race gas and felt as fast as XR, but don't feel much torque like XR. Boosted about 16 PSI

GIAC X: fast as ABT, but not smooth as ABT, and do not adapt well to race gas. Spike to 19-20 PSI and settle down to 16+ PSI

XR: this chip will run on race gas only, it is one bad a$$ chip, you can feel alot of torque with this chip, it will boosted 23 PSI.

I will do block 120 with VAG-COM, if you think I should data with other block please post here and I will try to do it. For now, this is all I have

Default Those are my findings EXACTLY except I show a little more boost with both the Abt and MTM.

Default 23 psi - cripes! That is craziness. You SHOULD get your warranty vaporized for that.

Default Your review is scattered and running race gas pretty wrong.

Your butt dyno really really needs some tuning, in fact I would go out on a limb and say you need to upgrade to a new butt dyno, one with buttons instead of a zipper one that is relaxed fit vs flared bottoms, one that does not have a patch of the american eagle on the back right pocket.

APR as seen on the timeslip is not the weakest chip on race gas, race program can adapt and it runs darn well.

And on my car, all chips boost about the same 1.1 1.3 (spikes) of boost, while the XR is rumored to almost hit and or hit that magic 1.5 bar number in higher gear low rpm scenarios, but I don't race in those conditions. I have not driven the MTM, but I really want to try the MTM stg III chip.

AMS is in no stretch of the imagination as fast as the XR, there is nothing currently that can touch the XR. It's currently the Desert Eagle of stage II chips.

Log blocks 003 115 002..

Default your probably right about the APR race program but

like Ive said before... the street APR program is weak.. I wish he did some runs against the XR chip with 104.. For raw daily driving power, imo, the APR chip is not the way to go..

Default i would argue for raw daily driving - apr is exactly the way to go

it's very unlikely to blow your turbos, you get all the amazing features of EMCS and the demobilizer now. You can run test pipes with no CE lights, you get a dealer mode, valet mode....if you want to go for the most performance, yes apr is not the way to go, but i know on my stage 2 car with no dps - i ran 105mph trap speeds with 100 octane program - and never blew a turbo, bpv, f-hose, or anything for 35k miles.
