Just recently, when i start to drive the as the car is rolling, i hear a clunking sound from my left front wheel. I have my stock wheels on and there are no wheel weights hitting it. I'm thinking it's the rotor when it rotates but i heard since Stoptechs have a floating system and when the pads wear down a little there is bound to be some movement.
Is this true and if not, what can it be? |

I've had Matt from Stoptech and Audi diagnose this as a LOOSE brake pad. Essentially the way to fix it is to take the hat off the caliper (via the 2 bolts) and take the aluminum rectangle piece which sits left to right when tight and bend the arm of the aluminum so that the pads DON"T rattle.
It's a simple fix, and one I dealt with a while ago. NOthing else is wrong with your set up. TRUST ME! it's an annoying rattle but luckly one that's easy to fix. hth's David.

the front rattles, but you'll notice that if you're on the brakes the rattling stops.
like dojo said (and thanks to him for initially providing me the tip!), you need to bend the silver rectangular thing inwards a little (not too much or you'll have a hell of a time putting the bridge back on):
