he bought those bulb from japan, I think it was like $300 for a pair (bulb only)
and....no, that's not high beam, I just took the pic without flash...

The reason I ask is because I bought a set of PIAA superwhites from a Japanese supermarket for $120. They were by far the best bulbs I've ever seen! The problem is they only lasted 2 months. PIAA denied any warranty because they were "illegally imported" into the US from Japan.
