Default I am back .... take it or leave it ... read this thread with an open mind (its long)....

I took the day off to collect my thoughts and here is where I'm at...

First of all there are many good posters on here that I've become friendly with off AWOT, be it through AIM or in real life. To those people of character who always avoid the whirlwind any post I make becomes I apologize for the results of me posting. To those who have nothing better to do with their time, but pick on random people they don't know sitting across the country behind a computer screen, so be it... I hope at the end of the day it makes you feel better.

Now lets get this going. Anyone who thinks I quit the site because I couldn't take the "ragging" anymore well that's not the reason. I know many of you have commented on how well I handle joke after joke coming my way and with how long its been going on you would have to realize it would take something more then a joke to frustrate me. Some examples of hysterical posts that I did not have a problem with at all: AL-ODB's Spring Break P'Chop Contest, [[uber.bucket]]'s animated gif, and Nojoi|Egokiller's Last Straw rendition. When things are done in good fun we can all get a laugh out of it. When things are mean spirited and off topic it just ruins the site.

No one made me cry and no single person was the cause of me doing this. The reasoning behind me contemplating leaving for good was simply that any time I post a thread, or more so a reply to a thread it gets shoved so far off topic that its just ridiculous. I feel like apologizing to the other members of the forum who stay out of this nonsense because it just ruins the forum. The thing that keeps me coming back is that there are genuinely good people out there. 99% of the time they're the forum regulars who keep clear of these ridiculous threads.

I can take a joke, you all know that. Hell I can take straight up criticism. What I don't "like" is how I make a response to a thread and a curve ball out of left field comes and tarnishes the thread.

Many good people on here have IMed me and said take a step back, don't quit the site, come back when you feel its right. Well its right. There are things I want to get of my chest so I'm back.

Lukstaar hit it on the nose exactly what pisses me off. My point in that very thread was so minor that why... why start a train wreck for no reason?

Now for your examples and links, because you all want links.

Ok so what started things last night you ask? That would be dloftis in his own thread. Basic premise before the link. He asks a poll, who flashes their brights to warn oncoming traffic that a cop is hiding. I say and I quote "Hell no " Here is dloftis's response: Click Here. What a class act right? So I guess you're only welcome to have an opinion so long as its his? Wait a second no that's not it at all. Other people shared my sentiment yet no one so much as made a remark back at them. I notice some of you think I deleted posts in that thread to hide what I said. I had nothing to hide. I was being attacked from all angles no one took my replies seriously even though they were more then logical so I just shut down the whole thread. This link gets you a view into the whole string: Click Here. So I say I want anonymous speeders on the road to get speeding tickets so they slow down and I'm the worst guy in the world. Better yet the asinine replies for instance, flashing your brights will help them slow down. Honestly wtf? How dumb are you? Flashing your brights helps someone get away with a ticket and then proceed on driving like an asshat.

No more then a few minutes after that thread debacle. Oneformula, someone I used to respect on this forum, who has been on my case for the last few days for no reason at all comes up with this gem of a thread as a follow up to the flashing the brights thread: Click Here. Its funny, I don't mind being called a virgin, frankly because it doesn't bother me at all, but calling me a troll... well that gets on my nerves. I thought I was a helpful person on this forum. People ask questions I give serious answers where as you normally see bonehead answers for a least the first few replies. People e-mail me off the site and ask questions all the time and I try my best to help them out. So this was my reply to him by the end of the thread: Click Here.

Here is a similar situation from just 2 weeks ago: Click Here.

Shockingly enough missing from the party was Baraqyal and lucky number 3. Don't worry about Baraqyal, because even though he missed the night's actions he got in his shots when it was all over. Well lucky number 3 everyone knows he is an idiot/troll, but he calls me a troll a good 10 times a day.
Case in point: Click Here or look here: .
What confuses me is that everyone knows what type of person he is on the forum/community yet when he makes those comments people generally rally behind him. I guess its the popular thing to do.

Baraqyal, well I don't know what the deal is with that guy, but he's bald, fat, and lame. He spends his time on here bashing *everyone* and well maybe it makes him feel better at the end of the day. Frankly, I can't figure the guy out. He pretends to be a badass, but frankly he's gotta be anything but that. My reply to him a while back: Click Here.

Some more genuinely great characters: grey-2002-ar-6sp , nirad, dloftis, customfab, dloftis, Ryan|MN, customfab, Baraqyal, Accerler8, Baraqyal, Baraqyal, Acceler8, TimD (who are you anyway, stfu), Baraqyal.

So where does that leave things? Frankly, I'm back for now and we'll take it on a day to day and see how it goes. There are too many good people on here for me to just walk away. I remember a time when AWOT rallied behind me and that was cool. I've gone from hero to villain I suppose, though the funny thing is many people suggest I have ulterior motives behind all of my actions and posts. Believe me I don't. I am just like anyone else killing time on this forum with nothing better to do while they're on.

I think many people jumped on the "rag on MBtB" bandwagon after my roommate's domestic squabble with his girlfriend. I've tried to say this many times, but it falls on deaf ears, so I will do it here and hopefully it can be laid to rest. We all live different lives. It's easy to judge someone else's actions and inactions alike when you're sitting far away with no real ties to what is going on. When you have a good roommate who tells you that the guy is dangerous, a drunk (obviously I knew that), has a temper, worse yet a loose canon, and gets in a few fights a week.... guess what you avoid doing anything to get on the guys bad side. I don't know him from a hole in the ground. I don't know if he has guns, knives, etc. and furthermore I don't need to take the chance that I'll find out. Did I feel bad for the girl? Yes, sort of. He mentally abused her by yelling, screaming, curving, and cheating on her and she kept coming back. I wasn't going to stick my neck out for her and feel the wrath of my roommate. If you want to judge me on that go ahead, but realize we're all different people. I call the cops and nothing comes of it, well now his angers, frustrations, and drunken rages turn toward me. Sometimes its very easy to give a suggestion when you don't have to reap the consequences one way or another. Just remember that. We're all different, we all make mistakes, some things we wish we could change, some things we wouldn't change, but we're all different.

If you've made it this far. My purpose behind this thread wasn't to call people out, in fact I'm more then willing to move on from this and peacefully communicate with those very people who have time and time again come up with the harsh things to say that were just uncalled for. What I don't/won't do is take the crap anymore. A good joke here and there is great. If you can't laugh at yourself then you probably take yourself to seriously, i.e. Paris Hilton.

So if you think I take the internet too seriously, believe me I don't. This is AWOT. We come here for distractions and entertainment and I get it. You just have to admit its gone a little past that lately and its frustrating.

P.S. I will be keeping roommate situations and girl situations off of AWOT for now on so we can all hopefully we move on.

P.P.S. For those curious I did not get depressed and eat a lot today. I am now more focused then ever on my weight loss goals. As of this morning's weigh in I was the lightest I've been so far and after tonight's 4 games of 5-on-5 full court basketball, coupled with the routines of push ups, sit ups, and leg ups I am pushing on more and more toward my goal! http://pegasus.cc.ucf.edu/~mi167268/weight.jpg

And of you're still reading this is where the apology goes. I bring a lot of this on myself. I read back on things and wonder why I post them. Though nothing has been intentional, a lie, or a fabrication. I still must restrain from putting myself into the situations that lead to what we've seen lately. I don't think this warrants some of the harsh comments that come my way, but I have to take full responsibility none the less and just say I will do better to clean things up. Please accept my apology.

Default Dear AWOT: I have read the contents of MB The Body's post and am prepared to offer the CLIFFNOTES:

Overly emotional dribble on a forum that's supposed to be fun and light-hearted.
