March 2nd Georgetown Lake Fun Day GTG

Not sure how many of you know about http://www.ourgangiceracing.com/Schedule.html and the ice racing events they hold. But I wanted to see how many people were interested in meeting up for this event. The fee is $5 for the whole day. For my FWD buddies, feel free to come out too, you just can't race your car on the ice. I looking forward to going and it would be great if a few Euro folk came out too.

Show time AT Georgetown Lake is going to be 10:30am.

Anyone in Fort Collins that wants to meet up to drive down I'm heading out at 8am. All the FOCO people can meet at the WalMart off Harmony, near the Garden entrance.

There is a Circle K at Colfax and I-70 where all parties (FOCO, Boulder, and Denver, Colorado Springs) can meet up to drive out. ETA at the Circle K is 9:15

is it even frozen enough to race this year? I've been working up near berthoud pass and some of the small lakes aren't even fully capped.

Ourgangracing hasn't said they've run into any issues so far this season. And the Fun Day in Dec had around 200 people attend.

thats cool just wondered. its been unusually warm this winter. Always wanted to check one of these races out.

Yeh, going earlier in the year, I think will be better. We went at the end of the season, and the ice was torn up from all the jeeps running studs.

and those are no mouse tit studs either. . . more like sharpened utters!
