Hi Ari
I went for a 1.8 T Sport In Brilliant Black, Black roof, Black cloth interior and grey headlining. I also ordered reverse parking sensors, heated electric folding mirrors and no model enscription I just loved the contrast of the sliver detail of the windsreen pillar and trim against the black of the rest of the car! |

Ah, someone else with a 1.8T & cloth interior! Have you got yours yet? I was a bit worried about how the cloth would look given that every other one I've seen had leather, but actually it looks really nice, especially in the black.
I originally went for grey headlining also as I figured it would lighten the interior with the hood up, but changed my mind after looking in a black interior car and realising that the inside of the windscreen frame and header rail is black, so figured the black headlining would tone in better. Probably just being fussy there though, and hopefully the roof will be down most of the time anyway, fingers crossed! I also went for the reverse parking sensors, an essential I decided after looking out the back with the hood up... And yes, the aluminium detailing on the outside does indeed look superb against a dark colour. Cheers, Ari. |

Ari
I could have mine the 1st week in March but I'm opting out of my company car scheme and my company car doesn't go back until end of March so I am taking delivery on March 29th. The leather would have pushed me over my budget but I have seen one with black cloth interior and it looked great! The only real concern I have is whether or not I can live with the performance but there is always chipping and that new Revotechnik which remaps the existing ECU chip, we'll see! When do you get yours? |

Mine is 1st March.
I was very impressed with the cloth also. Like yourself leather would have pushed me too far over budget, but having now seen the cloth I'm quite happy with that. What options did you go for? Ari. |

I'm with you Ari on the cloth interior.
My choice of cloth was not financial, but for noise reason. I have had other cars in the past with leather interiors and decided that I could not put up with the constant squeaking and creaking that you get every time you go over a bump as the seat edge of the seats make contact with the interior trim, plus anything put on them slide all over the place. Also as I am quite slim I tend to slide around on leather and that was proved on the test drive. I don't think having cloth trim is a bad thing at all, in just the same way as it isn't for people like me who decide that they do not want the Sport pack. Had to buy the Sport seats though as they are the business. Like you i'm counting the days to: March 1st 9.00am |

Interesting comments there about leather. I have it in my current car and like it, but having seen my Cabrio without it, it's no loss, the cloth interior looks really classy.
Is your car at the dealer yet and if so have you seen it? 29 days my friend, 29 days!!! :-D Ari. |
