Default If anyone hasn't been up close and looked at one of those WSP Charger stealth patrol cars....

just know that they are pretty dang stealthy.

I got caught behind one returning to the WSP barn thats located right behind Chaplins VW/Subaru in Bellevue/Eastgate.

When exiting off I-90 EB, I ended up following this light brown/bronze colored Charger in front of me. Right after coming up behind it at the 148th St exit, I was looking at its back end and started saying to myself..."the WSP has a mini-fleet of these cruising the area". All the while I was looking at this non-descript-plain-jane license plate it had, a trunk lid of an extremely noticeably dirty car that had three kid sized hand prints on it from where they touched/closed the trunk, and brake-dust covered wheels worse than an Audi. Suddenly, my brain started processing visual input down different neuron paths and my WSP-defensive sensors started going off. One sensor clued into second antennae on the back end, a foot-high black antennae middle of the trunk behind the extremely dark tinted windows, followed shortly after by a second sensor cluing into the small stealthy LED light bar sitting on the inside rear seat deck where most cars have their third brake light (as I followed him around the off-ramp, the sun came through his windshield in just the right way that I then saw the light bar through the extremely dark window tint).

I muted the sensors and hung back a bit, and thanked the Audi gods that I hadn't had my second addict-caffeine-fix of the day yet that would have probably added a few foot-pounds to my right foot. If I had made a run by him just before the freeway off-ramp, instead of lazily laying back and following him off the freeway, I would probably be posting right now about a ticket.

First time I have seen one of these Chargers up close, and they sure are stealthy. Keeping the grime on the car and wheels, and having kid hand-prints on the trunk are clearly "bad form" on their part in my book.

Default I heard about CHP putting wet paper towels over a single headlight...

For night patrol...Because everyone "knows" that police cars are regularly maintained a "dim" bulb would be taken care of right away...
So they pace you at night and you go...just a Crown Vic... not a po po..

Busted...

But yes the tint is super dark...I wonder if it is even "legal" because they have the front windows tinted so darkly as well...

Default Legal Shmeegal... they're cops. What does the law have to do with it?

I see cops breaking traffic laws all the time when they're just tooling around town.

Default Charger in E-burg

If you look at the one that hangs around Ellensburg, one fog light is blue, the other is red. I don't think any parent, no matter how mean, needs a dog screen between the front and rear seats. The Mariners license plate frame is a nice touch also. sneeeaky bishes.
