i don't know if you guys remember a while back my situation with the drug dealer roommie...

well things got even worse now.

With my other roommate a friend of 5-6 years. We are having a birthday party at our apartment for our 4th roommate and a friend of mine and the person who the new incident happened with comes in and puts on my music for the party. It wasn't loud by any means, but good enough for the party. Well my roommate comes in and slams the mute button on my system... I turn around and say what the hell. He proceeds to hit (open fist) me in the face ... I turn around and yell get the fvck out of my room right now and he hits me again open fist across the face knocking my glasses off my face. He finds them first and walks out of the room with them. Finally after I tell him they are $300 glasses he comes back in with them and as he gives them to me he open fist hits me across the face again. I yell even louder get the fvck out of my room! He hits me (punches me) this time in the head and walks out.

I sat there in astonishment. I don't fight people, I've never hit anyone in my life but I was so close to losing it. Anyway I sat there and a friend came in my room and I actually started crying, something I've never done before in front of a friend... that lasted about 30 minutes. I got in my car and I was ready to leave Orlando permanently and withdraw from school but my friend sat with me and I didn't.

The kid was drinking, however not drunk (and I would know being that I've seen him drink for the last 5-6 years).

So now I live with a drug dealer and a person who attacked me.

I went to the leasing office on Saturday to try to terminate my lease, they said probably not but you will likely need a police report. So I went ahead and filled out a police report, 2 separate for each roommate. I filled out a separate form saying I did not want to press charges nor did I want them to come near my apartment I just wanted the paper for the record to get me out of my lease.

Anyway there is no way to terminate the lease and no one will want to take over my lease.

So I'm stuck....

And if I make a big deal out of it I risk my health and well being, my personal stuff, and my car.

oh and on a happier note my drug dealer roommate spent the night in jail saturday night after being pulled over for DUI and possession of marijuana... so atleast thats good !

this way your word verse his. atleast teach him a lesson. i know your car is a concern. rig up some kinda camera on it. i did this after my tires were slashed.

i'm surprised they won't let you terminate even when your roommate has caused you physical harm.

how many more months are on your lease? i say get out of there now regardless
