Default Well ask Ed(ness) he does live with him!!!

I dont think thats appropriate for a Mod to do anyways!!!!! At least get one of the AWMA goons to do it for ya!!

:-P

Also, I honestly dont think Chip had any knowledge about what was about to happen with the timing belt or other things. As long as I have known him he has been a stand up guy and very helpful not to mention he seems to take pretty damn good care of his cars.

Default There is so much that was wrong with that car, or has come up that could not possibly...

have been done by Joel.. The *seems to* in your comment is the key here.. apparently, that car was held together by a wing and a prayer. It's becoming evident why he had such a hard time selling it. I'm just sorry that Joel found out the hard way.

Default HAHAHA OMG I dont have time to re write the Bible today kids but maybe tomorrow..

The gospel according to.."WTF, he didn't tell me about this" will be written soon.

busted mani (was able to pull out on of four 10mm bolts straight out, bent, and end broken off in turbo)
bent and pinched FMIC piping
Busted BPV (and he wondered why he was shooting fire and running rich)
bad pressure plate
rear brakes were gone
Timing belt was holdin on for dear life (quarter size chunks missing)
new thermostat and coolant lines
Suspension was bad since day one.. leaking
Cam Tensioner Seal - the most wanted high flow mod of them all
Milltek had to be re aligned and put back in place (bottomed out the car, was rattling when I picked up.."i dont know it just started happening"-chipper)
RS4 Bumper had been cracked re pained and bondo applied..its all coming apart
Both Front wheel bearings died right after purchase
Control Arms bad..

Thats just the small list.. yeah I was lied to and taken advantage of.. or maybe he was just ignorant about how to take care of the damn car. And now I'm paying for it. What an ass. He wont even answer e mails, regarding parts and or money he owes me. The forum needs to know this. I was sold the car on face and forum value.. Yeah what a "chipper" guy he is. All said and done (when ever that may be) I could have bought a new car and moded with all new parts for the same price. I'm just damn pissed.

Cheers,
Joel

Ps. by all means post this all around AW if you want..go for it

Default bull****.. everything that has happened would have been noticed by someone that cared about the car

read the list above.. he was just ignorant.
Everyone is under the impression he is the greatest guy ever.. I found out the hard way. and like Kris said, I wondered why it took so long to sell. So I flew down on a one way ticket from VT to get it. yeah Im pissed, at least I can take care of it. Im broke and cant afford to fix all the issues, but I hope that changes soon or else it will just be half there as long as I have it. I might start a donation to help the sucker fund. I'll stop talking about this befor I get real pissed

Cheers,
Joel

Default ok...

Im not gonna get into this because I didnt know him long at all before he sold the car so dont know what happened before that. I do know that he is a really good guy and is always willing to help me out at the drop of a hat when i need it.

Like I said to Kris, I will not take sides because Chip is a friend of mine but I do agree it is sh!t what happened with the car and you getting stuck with this. I dont know all the circumstances from before the sale so...
